CURRENT STANDARD TREATMENT OF CHRONIC HEPATITIS C

CURRENT STANDARD TREATMENT OF CHRONIC HEPATITIS C Sofosbuvir + Velpatasvir: commonly 12 weeks. Glecaprevir + Pibrentasvir: 8 weeks in many treatment-naïve patients without cirrhosis; duration differs in some cirrhosis/prior-treatment situations. Decompensated cirrhosis: Sofosbuvir + Velpatasvir + ribavirin for 12 weeks when ribavirin-eligible; ribavirin-ineligible patients generally require 24 weeks of Sofosbuvir + Velpatasvir. Sofosbuvir + Velpatasvir + Voxilaprevir (Vosevi): commonly 12 weeks for appropriate DAA-experienced patients. Glecaprevir and Voxilaprevir are NS3/4A protease inhibitors and should be avoided in decompensated cirrhosis. Couetesy : MRCP (UK) page
